Hello, my name is Smrithi! I am the founder of Studio Lazuli and I have been an artist for as long as I can remember.
I started face painting at Studio Lazuli in 2022 while in undergrad, and graduated from UC Santa Cruz in Spring of 2023. I have always loved working with kids, and have over 6 years of experience working with children in different capacities; from summer camp and public speaking instructor, to current face painter and henna artist.
When face painting, I prioritize my guests’ comfort and stylistic preferences while also ensuring they are happy with the end result. I strive for perfection with each of my creations and have an exceptional eye for detail, while also prioritizing speed and efficiency to make sure each guest at the event is able to get a design.
I am also a professional henna artist and have been doing henna for over 8 years now! I am available for private henna or face painting appointments, corporate events, birthdays, parties, festivals, weddings, and more!
